1. Locate the filter

Locate the water filter at the right end upper corner of the refrigerator interior.

Filter covers will have one of the two different types of releases, push or pull.

The Push style can be identified by the word “Push” and both the tab and cover end facing out.

On the Pull style will have a tab on the front underside of the cover.

2. Release the filter cover

For Push-style filter cover: Release the cover by pushing in on the tab then slide it down so the filter cover hangs open from the back at an angle.

For the Pull-style filter cover: Release the cover by pulling the tab gently toward the front so the filter cover hangs open from the back at an angle.

If it is the new refrigerator filter installation, a blue by pass cap will be inside the filter opening.

3. Remove the bypass cap or the used filter

Remove the Blue bypass cap by turning it counterclockwise approximately 1/4 turn and then pull straight out. Keep the cap for future uses if needed.

To replace a used filter, unscrew and remove the cartridge by turning it counterclockwise until it’s released and then pull straight out.

4. Discard the used cartridge.

6. Get the new filter ready

Remove the new filter from any packaging and full the seal off the end of the cartridge.

7. Install the new filter

With the thread facing toward the back, align the new filter with the opening in the refrigerator and push in until seat it.

8. Tight the new filter

Turn the filter clockwise approximate 1/4 of the turn until the filter stops.

9. Close the filter cover

Close the filter cover by lightly lifting it underneath and pressing it upward until it’s snap shut.

10. Get the filter ready

Let the water gets through the filter several times before you can dink it.
